 Hainanese Chicken RiceWhen I was very young I had an eating disorder of not being able to eat solid food. Starting elementary school my parents started to make me drink chicken broth along with my food so I can swallow it just as one swallows pills. Anyhow, that required cutting one chicken just for me every day! To this day, I really love this dish along with the freshly made chicken broth. ~ From Singapore Favourites cookbook with some mods
